Mumbai, Jun 6 (PTI) Backing Baba Ramdev’s demands, former MP and BJP leader Kirit Somaiya today said that if black money is brought back to India, it would be enough to feed the 60 crore people in the country for the next 60 years. “The major issue is Rs 22.5 lakh crore Indian black money stashed in the Swiss bank. Then why is the government not approaching the Swiss authority,” he said. “USA got back black money lying in the Swiss bank. Even Germany and France have amended their laws. If that money is brought back to our country, government can feed 60 crore people in the country for 60 years”, he said. On the crackdown on Baba Ramdev, he said, “I would say it was a planned operation. They wanted to create a scene so that Baba Ramdev cannot come out.” Shiv Sena leader Subhash Desai alleged that Congress discriminated between the one who wore a Gandhi cap (Anna Hazare) and the one in a saffron dress (Baba Ramdev). He also said that government has failed on all fronts and have lost confidence among the people.
