Recipe of Aloo Prantha (Potato stuffed cake – spicy)
Ingredients:
Dough ingredients:
* 3 cups of wheat flour
* 1 cup of water
* a pinch of salt
* 1/4 tbsp of oil
* some flour for dusting
Stuffing ingredients:
* 2 potatoes (cooked,peeled and smashed)
* 1 onion finely chopped
* 1 green chilli or to taste
* big pinch of garam masala
* few coriander leaves, finely chopped
* salt to taste
Dough preparation:

Mix the flour,salt oil and water and make a dough.

Cover the dough and keep restly for 2 hours.
Stuffing preparation:
*
Mix all the stuffing ingredients in a bowl and keep aside.
Alu ka paratha (potato stuffing parantha) preparation:
*
Divide the dough and potato stuffing into small and equal size balls.
*
(potato stuffing ball is little bit smaller than the dough ball)
*
Take one dough ball and roll out into a small poori and place the potato ball in the centre and close it from all sides.
*
Gently pat the stuffed poori in the palms and apply some flour on both sides and roll out gently into paratha.
*
Do the same for the remaining dough.
*
Now heat a pan and place the rolled paratha.
*
When the bubbles apper on the top then turn to the other side and drizzle some ghee on each side and flip.
*
Cook on both sides till the colour changes to nice golden brown.
*
Remove from tawa and serve hot with with pickle or raita or butter or all.
