Government is under pressure, gets busy in preparing new Lokpal Bill draft

The government today is finalising the new Lokpal Bill draft. The draft will be sent to Pranab Mukherjee, which will later be circulated at the all-party meeting. Team Anna is insisting that the bill should not go to the standing committee. They want Parliament to debate their bill. Meanwhile, Aruna Roy is meeting civil society activist Arvind Kejriwal and Prashant Bhushan at Ramlila Maidan.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has again appealed to Anna Hazare to follow doctors advice. He said, “Your health is important, allow doctors to administer drip.”
