Norwegian model-actress Mahek Chahal was evicted from the Bigg Boss house on Saturday. The fifth season of Bigg Boss had started with 14 contestants and Mahek is the tenth contestant to be evicted after completing close to 10 weeks in the house.
Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds is the most recent addition to the Bigg Boss house and ex-contestant Pooja Missra who had been removed re-entered the house along with Andrew as his translator.
The 32-year old model turned actress, Mahek Chahal, was seen practising yoga every morning and dancing at every opportunity. There were also tense moments between her and house in-mate Akashdeep Saigal, who had accused her of going under the knife. However, the two were seen patching up in the latest episodes of the show.
Mahek made her debut as an actor in Nayee Padosan in 2003, and has since performed item numbers in a number of films Chameli, Wanted, Yamla Pagla Deewana and Jai Veeru.
Most recently, Pooja Bedi, on being evicted from the house, had made an allegation that Mahek was getting support from Salman Khan. Though this week, after surviving 6 evictions, Mahek was the unlucky one. The other nominees who were up for eviction this week were Amar Upadhaya, Shonali Nagrani and Siddharth Bharadwaj.
