There were reports of Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn’s film releasing in the same month during Diwali, but now, joining the bandwagon are Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor. The actresses will be seen in two big budget films, namely Aiyya starring Rani and Heroine starring Kareena. The release month of the two films is the same, Aiyya will release on September 14 and Heroine on 28 September.
The films have two very different and interesting storylines. Both the films are female oriented- Heroine is based on the life of a famous actress whose films start flopping at the box office and the emotional crisis that follows. Aiyya is about a middle class girl cast opposite Prithviraj.
Now, it’s time to wait and watch who will win this race, Heroine or Aiyya!
